Playing Big Bad Wolf
The action takes place on 5×3 reels and there are 25 Bet Lines in play. One of the first things you’ll notice of this slot is the beautiful design of the symbols, the reels themselves and the graphics outside the reels, a picturesque countryside setting with grassy mounds, fragrant flowers and barrels of freshly picked apples. But move your eyes a little bit to the left and you’ll come across the far less friendly and less soothing image of the Big Bad Wolf himself. Sporting brownish-red skinny jeans and expensive-looking loafers, he looks like someone you don’t want to be meeting in a dark alley.
You can adjust your bet from a very modest 25 cents all the way to a big–hitters-only 100 CAD a spin. That’s not an amount for the faint-hearted any more than the sight of the Wolf is.
You can change the stake per spin but you can’t change the number of bet lines that are in play: it’s always 25. Regarding the spinning itself, you can either just manually hit the big orange button and spin once at a time or you can press the smaller orange button just to the left of it.
Doing so allows you to do all manner of clever things. At the most basic level, you can choose to automatically play x number of spins, up to 1000. At a more advanced level, you can choose to establish loss limits and win limits that will stop the autoplay, should they kick in.

Features of Big Bad Wolf
As mentioned above, the game features beautiful graphics, no more than we’ve come to expect from Quickspin games.
Wins can either be secured by getting identical symbols in a line or in a Zig-Zag way. The game uses the cascading spins feature or as they prefer to call it here, the swooping reels feature. That means that every time you secure a win, the symbols that made up that win disappear and are replaced by others that cascade…or swoop to use their preferred terminology…down.
What that of course means is that you can secure four or five wins in a row, as long as the new symbols keep creating new winning combinations.
If during the swooping/cascading reels feature, you secure a second win (the third in a row) one of the Three Little Pigs turns Wild for the next spin. If the next two spins are also winners then the second Little Pig turns Wild. That’s extra priceless Wilds on the reels right there. And if you manage to somehow keep spinning winning spins you can have all three acting as Wilds. And that’s where the fun really begins.
The Pigs by the way, are the most valuable symbol. That means that if the Wild helps form a winning combination involving the Pigs, you’re on your way to a decent pay-out.
The Big Bad Wolf Wild symbol
Isn’t the Big Bad Wolf himself. He has different responsibilities here and we’ll come to those in the time it takes you to say ‘Then I’ll huff and I’ll puff, and I’ll blow your house in.”
Rather, the Wild symbol here is a beehive. We’re not entirely sure why because if we remember rightly, there was no mention of one in the original story. But then again, this slot is inspired by the story rather than following it to the letter.

Big Bad Wolf Bonus Round
You guessed it: the Big Bad Wolf is the Scatter. So, scary as it is to have him so close to the poor Little Pigs on the reels, he’s your best chance of a big win. Or rather, three of them are. If three ‘Baddies’ appear anywhere on the reels, they’ll trigger the 10 free spins, the slot’s bonus round.
You get to play it on a separate set of reels after you see the Wolf blowing the first house down. The reels themselves are the same, it’s just a quirky little addition.
